Overview
A limited-edition furniture collaboration between Lehni, an aluminum furniture maker founded in Zurich, Switzerland in 1922, and RIMOWA, a luxury luggage brand founded in Cologne, Germany in 1898. Presented at Milan Design Week 2026 (Salone del Mobile), comprising two pieces: 'RIMOWA Lehni Bench' (an open shelf accommodating two cabin-size RIMOWA suitcases in parallel) and 'RIMOWA Lehni Drawer' (a sculptural stacked storage frame with a closed drawer for small items). Both pieces are anodized aluminum hand-finished at Lehni's Zurich factory, available in black or silver. Each shelf is lined with scratch-resistant felt mats to protect suitcases. Displayed April 21–24 at RIMOWA Lehni Visitor Centre (Via Achille Maiocchi 10, Milan), featuring curated book displays and postcards from Innen Publishing. Sales begin April 21, 2026 at rimowa.com and select flagship stores worldwide. €3,200 each.
