Overview
Confirmed on designboom.com 2018-04-18. An aluminum chair designed by Marc Newson for Knoll's 80th anniversary. A homage to Mies van der Rohe's 1928 Tugendhat chair's reverse cantilever structure. Replacing traditional tubular steel with cast aluminum (high-pressure die-cast 3-piece: main frame + 2 end caps) to realize a dynamic form. Mesh seat and back = polyester yarn + thermoplastic elastomer. Available with or without arms, in 3 frame finishes × 6 mesh colors. Presented at Milan Design Week 2018 (57th Salone del Mobile).
