Overview
A new chapter—'2.0'—in the 13-year Kartell × LAUFEN collaboration. Under the creative direction of Ferruccio Laviani, LAUFEN's new material VITREON steel—an enamel-coated steel combining the strength and plasticity of steel with the chemical resistance and polished finish of glass—is fully adopted. The bathroom is redefined not merely as functional space but as an 'environment providing design, wellbeing, and quality of daily life.' The signature new piece, beauTwash cabinet, employs the T-shape as both structural icon and graphic gesture, evoking high-end lounge furniture rather than utility. Additionally, Anna Castelli Ferrieri's iconic Componibile (1969) is poetically reinterpreted as a storage-integrated column wash basin. Debuting at Salone del Mobile 2026 (Milan Design Week, April 20–26).
