Brand Concept
Founded in Fiorano Modenese, Italy in 2006, Mutina works at the intersection of design and ceramics—commissioning tiles and surfaces from world-renowned designers and architects to demonstrate that floor and wall coverings can be as culturally significant as any other element of interior design. The brand collaborates with figures including Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, Patricia Urquiola, Raw Edges, and Konstantin Grcic to produce surfaces that are simultaneously functional and artistic.

- Tierras Collection 2016 Designed by Patricia Urquiola; handcrafted terracotta tiles with micro-relief textures and a wide palette inspired by traditional floor-making techniques, awarded the Compasso d'Oro 2018.
- Azulej Collection 2012 Designed by Patricia Urquiola; a reinterpretation of the classic Portuguese azulejo tile, featuring geometric patterns in matte and shiny surfaces.
