Brand Concept
Moooi was co-founded in Amsterdam in 2001 by Marcel Wanders and Casper Vissers. The name, meaning 'beautiful' in Dutch with an extra 'O' for extra beauty, encapsulates the brand's conviction that 'design is a question of love.' Moooi's philosophy is to make designers' dreams come true without prescribing what they must create, resulting in a collection that is daring, exquisite, and playful—fusing timeless elegance with unexpected creativity and high-end craftsmanship.

- Random Light 2002 Bertjan Pot's globe-shaped pendant made by randomly wrapping resin-soaked fiberglass thread around a balloon; one of Moooi's founding icons and a landmark of material experimentation.
- Horse Lamp 2006 Designed by Studio Front, this life-size horse-shaped floor lamp is among Moooi's most iconic statements of the surreal and playful made beautifully functional.
