Founded in Meda in 1927, Cassina builds its identity on a continuous dialogue between past, present, and future—reissuing landmark 20th-century designs through its i Maestri collection while commissioning bold new work from leading contemporary architects and designers.   • LC4 Chaise Longue 1928 Designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand; a continuous-adjustment reclining chair, first produced by Cassina in 1965 under the i Maestri license.
  • 699 Superleggera 1957 Designed by Gio Ponti; weighing only 1,700 grams with ash legs just 18 mm in cross-section and a hand-woven cane seat, one of the lightest chairs ever produced.
  • Maralunga Sofa 1973 Designed by Vico Magistretti; a sofa with an innovative adjustable headrest mechanism that won the Compasso d'Oro in 1979.
